One of my favorite things to do is to cook. And eat. A lot. Heard of the saying, “Eat to live?” Well, “I live to eat.” Lately I’ve been toying around with the idea going to Culinary school. IN NO SHAPE OR FORM do I plan to go work at restaurant or have one of my own (I might cater small parties/dinners..who knows). I figured if I am going to learn more about cooking I might as well get certified in it. Since I title this post “Nom Nom Nom” it is only right I share some pictures of some meals I’ve cooked lately, right?
Whole wheat penne pasta, grilled shrimp, and sauteed string beans
Stuffed crab, sauteed asparagus, and scalloped red and sweet potato(new fave!)
Almond encrusted salmon, roasted red potatoes, and sauteed string beans
Kept it simple and easy with crab cake, sauteed string beans, and crab cake
Lemon pepper salmon (I squeeze a lemon over the salmon while it’s cooking and then add the pepper), garden rice, sauteed string beans, and salad (I’m now obsessed with feta cheese)
Yes, I cooked with string beans a lot. I had a bought a big bag of it (for a great price) so I had to use it before it went bad. Tasty way to help fulfill my daily veggie intake!
So……..do I have the potential for culinary school?
