For The Home: Framed Fabric
A few weeks ago I had a birthday (I turned 30. But more on that in another post) and was given some gorgeous fabric from a friend.
At first I thought about making myself some cute clutches but in the end I decided to keep the scissors away and make them a keepsake. They are the perfect sizes for framing. Of course, I scoured the web (ok, pinterest) for inspiration.
I have so many swatches from past projects, this would be a great way to use them up.
Diffrent patterns. Same colors. Pulled together by simple black and white frames.
I love the look of the more ornate antique style frames.
Using embroidery hoops Is a great optionand they are very inexpensive.
Decisions, decisions.

i did something similar a few years ago. i bought and framed fabric & then framed the mat in a contrasting fabric. i could spend in eternity in a fabric store!

Ooh! Do you have any pics? I'm in the fabric stores constantly. It's becoming a new happy place. Besides CVS.
