Crafting and Podcasting

Listening to podcasts have become one of my favorite things to do while I am working on a project. I love to plug in the headphones and start sewing/knitting/crocheting/dyeing away.

Some of my faves:

crafting and podcasting

1.Watch What Crappens

The title is a play off of Bravo’s Watch What Happens. These guys talk about all things Bravo but in the bitchiest (but funniest) way. The impressions are so horrible they are good. Countless times I have randomly laughed out loud while my husband looks at me weird or my youngest says “What happened, Mommy?”

2.?Tom & Lorenzo Pop Style Opinionfest

This podcast is a great mixture of all of the things I love about pop culture: gossip, movies, ?TV shows, and fashion. They also wrote a book which I am currently reading right now.

3.?Slate’s Pop Culture Gabfest

I like hearing their perspective on mainstream (and not so mainstream) movies, shows, books, etc. Plus, they introduced me to one of my favorite Google Chrome Extensions.

4.?Straight Up with Stassi

Of all of the shows on Bravo, Vanderpump Rules is my favorite. HANDS DOWN! Stassi was my favorite on the show. This past season wasn’t her best so this podcast gives me back the old Stassi I grew to love.

5.?Dusted: A Buffy Podcast

One of my favorite shows of all time being recapped by a couple who love the show as much as me. This podcast has me wanting to go back and re-watch the whole series. I love hearing their perspectives (positive and negative) on each character and the strength and weakness of each story line.

6. The Lyons Den/Deep Thots

I started listening to this podcast when they were recapping Empire (you know, the show EVERYONE became obsessed with!) and let’s just say they don’t hold back on their feelings. ?Since Empire is on hiatus, they changed the name of the podcast to Deep Thots and each week they talk about what is being mentioned in the media or whatever is on their mind.

7.?Again With This

Right now they are recapping the first season of Beverly Hills 90210. As much as I loved that show, it was pretty god awful. These folks share my same sentiment. They end the segment with who wa the MVP and LVP of each episode. There’s also another funny segment in which they have to list ways in which ?Dylan was “Mad, Bad, and Dangerous to Know.”

I am always looking for more podcasts to add, so send me some suggestions! Except for Serial. That is not my style.
