Want to Stay Zen AF? Get Some Lavender and Lemon Oil.

Lavender has been my best friend for the last few months. My body oil, diffuser, smudge sticks, deodorant…all contain lavender. While it has many benefits, I mainly use it to prevent me from murdering someone. Seriously. One whiff of the scent and a calm nature comes over me. Currently, I am growing some lavender of my own. I cannot get enough of it. I keep a roller bottle of it with me at all times. Unlike some oils, Lavender can be used alone and doesn’t need a carrier oil but for this recipe I added almond oil and lemon oil. Almond oil is lightweight and blends well with almost any oil. I also added lemon oil. I love all things citrusy and the smell alone makes me feel better.

Lavender Benefits:

  • reduces stress and anxiety
  • promotes healing and scaring
  • stimulates the immune system
  • enhance blood circulation
  • improves sleeps

Lemon Oil Benefits:

  • treats insects bites
  • relieves tension and headaches
  • stimulates lymphatic system
  • helps with cellulite and weight control

Lavender and Lemon Oil?

Recipe (for 10ml bottle)

1/2 Tbsp Almond Oil

20 Drops Lavender Oil

15 Drops Lemon Oil

Using a funnel, add all ingredients to the roller bottle. Cover and shake.


How To Use:

Apply to your temples, behind the ears and neck, and feet. You can also apply it to your palms, rub them together and inhale the scent for an instant mood lifter.
