I woke up Christmas morning with an unwanted gift: a cold. I slept most of the day but that I night I decided to take a hot bath and add a few essentials: oils and crystals.
I didn’t do exact measurements but for the bath I used almond oil (for the carrier oil), eucalyptus, sweet orange, and lemon essential oil. I also added about 1/4 cup of Himalayan Sea Salt for relaxation and detoxing. I specifically chose the crystals amethyst and clear quartz for their healing properties.
It also doesn’t hurt to have a good book to get your mind off of feeling like complete crap. I read Phoebe Robinson’s first book, You Can’t Touch My Hair: And Other Things I Still Have to Explain?and her latest, Everything’s Trash, But It’s Okay is just as good.
