My Life

Redo

Last month went different than I expected so the goals I set for myself weren’t met; but it doesn’t mean I failed. June was one of the best months of the year: I acknowledged and celebrated my birthday, my brother came into town, I finished up my 300hr yoga training (still have a couple of homework assignments to turn in), I celebrated my youngest’s birthday (and watched him get his purple belt in karate!), I meditated more than I have in the past. Over all, I was happier than I have been in the past. I am giving myself the same goals this month (and I’m sure others I haven’t thought of yet. Actually, that’s a lie; I need to finish up all my half read books!) and hoping for more consistency. And always giving myself grace if I fall below expectations.

Living in Columbia, South Carolina and using this blog as my space to share a little insight into my life in what I'm making on the sewing machine, knitting needles, crochet hooks, in the kitchen, and elsewhere.
