Local Tweet Up
The other night I headed to Takosushi to meet some of my Columbia Tweeps (twitter peeps). It was a weird situation at first because I know them but I don’t……???
Seriously, what do you say to the hostess? “Hi! I’m here to meet some friends but I don’t know them. Can you help?”
I am always nervous when I walk into situations and I’m not sure how things are going to go. Safe to say, everything went great! Everyone pulled out their handy-dandy Smart Phones and iPhones (Yes, I categorize iPhones alone. Why? Let’s be real….they’re SUPERIOR!!) and it was time to for some old fashion chatting and tweeting. I meant to take pictures but I didn’t. I was having too much fun! I did get a couple:

It was a fun night! I made some new friends (virtually and non-virtually). I definitely think it’s going to continue to grow and only get better. Can’t wait for the next one!

It was so nice to "meet" you, even though we realized that we had already met at the Zoo over "dirt cake." I'm glad you like your ornament, and i look forward to getting to know you better on Twitter and future tweetups! Merry Christmas!!
